========================== Client Deployment Steps ========================== 1. Ensure the existing application is not running. 2. Please ensure that the downloaded patch archive is not being "blocked" by Windows - (Right-click > Properties, look to see if you need to [Unblock] the file) 3. Extract to somewhere you'll find it (ideally, in replacement of download of this application) 4. Update your Dynamics 365 connection details to use OAuth: - Run the application ("As Admin..." to ensure sufficient permissions) - Get to the screen where you select Dynamics connection to use. - Click on the ellipsis [...] button to manage your Dynamics 365 connections. - Select your existing connection and click [Edit]. - When the edit screen opens, the "Use Token Authentication (OAuth)" option will now be automatically enabled. - Click ellipsis [...] button to discover organisations available to you in Dynamics 365 (but first you will be required to log in) - Provide your authentication details in the Microsoft login box as prompted. o NOTE: If this is the first time this application has been used with OAuth in your tenant, you will require someone with sufficient permissions to approve the application to connect. - Once successfully authenticated, the drop-down will refresh available organisations - select the one to use with the application. - Click [Ok] to save & close until back to the previous screen. - Now confirm Login Credentials are correct and [Test Connection...] (where applicable) - Finally, click [Save]/[OK] to save all the updated settings. You should now be able to run the application as normal, and be reconnected to Dynamics 365.
